After weeks of writing and frustration, I think I have finally finished my exhibition practice report. I showed the final draft to Kate, and she says it looks good. That is all I needed to hear.
I spent the rest of the day working on my essay, and I am almost at 3000 words.
Recently, I have added three new artists to my essay, to further compare the work of the artists, particularly Howson. The artists I added were Ken Currie, Steven Campbell and Adrian Wiszniewski. Together, along with Howson, they formed the art group known as the New Glasgow Boys. They ushered in a new age of figurative painting in Scotland, and changed the way people viewed figurative paintings.
No studio work today, but I hope to do some tomorrow, since I usually don’t have any lesson on a Wednesday.
